Fellowship Visual Arts 2027 Form EN – Künstler:innenhaus Lauenburg

INTERNATIONAL RESIDENCY FELLOWSHIP VISUAL ARTS 2027

The Künstler:innenhaus Lauenburg announces a 4-month residency fellowship in the field of visual arts. International artists can apply for the fellowship without restriction of age or place of residence. The funding is aimed at artists of all generations and stages of life.

Expectations towards the visual art fellows
We assume that the vast majority of the residency period will be spent in Lauenburg, which means a minimum of 50 %. The fellowship period is May to September. Time shifts are not possible.

During their stay at the Künstler:innenhaus, the fellows are expected to have a final solo presentation and an artist talk, as well as a joint first presentation (one-day-format). For the first and the final presentation, the fellows receive currently a total expense allowance of 300€ .

We are pleased about an artistic work gift for the collection of Künstler:innenhaus Stadtgalerie Lauenburg (responsible association: Künstlerhaus Lauenburg e.V.). However, this is a voluntary decision.
But a DIN A4 report about the fellowship at Künstler:innenhaus Lauenburg for the state of Schleswig-Holstein is obligatory.

Application and selection procedure
Incomplete applications or applications that do not comply with the specifications will not be considered. Applications without payment of the processing fee of 10.00€ are also excluded.
We only accept applications via the online form on our website.

Please combine the following application documents into one PDF (max. 15 MB file size) and upload it.

Description of the planned artistic project during the fellowship (max. 1 Din A4 page)
Curriculum vitae with artistic career (max. 1 Din A4 page)
Prizes and scholarships (max. 1 Din A4 page)
Portfolio with selection of at least 5, maximum 10 pages, including images with captions, and additional descriptions if neccessary
Links to video and/or audio works (max. 5 works) via Vimeo, Soundcloud, or youtube can be inserted directly into the form, they must be accessible at least until March 2027

Please indicate at the end of the application form, whether or not you wish to participate in the group exhibition. However, this does not constitute a guarantee of participation.
