As an ongoing exhibition, the ‘Resonances’ project will continue at its own pace until the end of 2026. A monthly programme of events invites visitors to engage in encounters and dialogue.

“LUFT 1” (audio piece) – Hanne Römer: Turbulence, animals, ink, sounds – everything is in the AIR, which, as a medium, indiscriminately carries whatever enters it: The art lies in separation: the enigmatic and the bizarre, amplified into a wealth of associations, is guaranteed.

We are celebrating 40 years of the Lauenburg Artists’ House and invite you to our Open Day, featuring workshops, guided tours and views of the Elbe.

“The Sound of the Elbe – Noisy under water”
A permanent artistic and scientific installation in the River Elbe with a global audiovisual digital network.
A collaboration between Nicole Schuck and Künstler:innenhaus Lauenburg, the town of Lauenburg, Prof. Dr. Philipp Fischer from the Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research (AWI) / Helmholtz Centre, and Hitzler Werft.

RESONANCES LIVE SET
Come by the riverside
Live set for the Culture and Pub Night by Anja Erdmann
Saturday, 21 March 2026 – 6.00 to 9.00 pm
Visitors are invited to make themselves comfortable, immerse themselves in the sounds of the Elbe and its surroundings, and listen to experimental music. The result is not a classical concert, but a shared listening experience.

Weaving Back to Common Grounds
Exhibition by otc – Observant Thick Conversation (Rahel Grote Lambers, Alexander Klaubert, Francis Kussatz, Julia Lübbecke) in Berlin. The four-member collective otc received the scholarship at the invitation of the Künstler:innenhaus Lauenburg for 2023/2024.
