Resonances
As an ongoing exhibition, the ‘Resonances’ project will continue at its own pace until the end of 2026. A monthly programme of events invites visitors to engage in encounters and dialogue.

on the terrace of the Künstler:innenhaus Lauenburg
The duo Hermes Hemmnis invites you to listen together whilst lying down on the Elbe terrace of the Künstler:innenhaus. Mats will be provided, but you are also welcome to bring your own.
The event takes place as part of the year-long project ‘Resonanzen’, which, as a fluid group exhibition, also features artistic works by applicants for the 2026 scholarships in visual arts, composition and literature.
Admission by donation.

The Literature Curation Fellowship is a collaboration with the Behörde for Kultur and Medien Hamburg.

Anna Goldmund (visual artist and member of the Hamburg Association of Visual Artists), the 2026 scholarship holders Eliana Kirkcaldy (literary curation) and Carsten Schneider (composition), Si-Ying Fung (visual artist), Dagmar Rauwald (visual artist and curator), Uta Röpcke (Member of the State Parliament, spokesperson for adult and continuing education, culture and heritage conservation), Lisa Deml (Artistic Co-Director, Halle für Kunst Lüneburg e.V.), Annika Dorau (Managing Director of the Hamburg Literature Centre), Marita Landgraf (Artistic Director of the Stadtgalerie and Künstler:innenhaus Lauenburg). Moderator: Doris Weinberger (visual artist).
From 3 pm, we invite anyone interested to join us for an open, critical round-table discussion to discuss the recommendations for action from the preceding internal workshop with our guests from the fields of literature, art, composition and cultural policy.

We are celebrating 40 years of the Lauenburg Artists’ House and invite you to our Open Day, featuring guided tours of the building, hands-on activities and views of the Elbe.
Special highlight: Composer Jana De Troyer will present her latest concert project, “Rückenwind”, from 11.00 am to 12.00 pm.
