In their current project Heaven and Hell in Lauenburg, die brachiale, in cooperation with Künstler:innenhaus Lauenburg, deals with seven aspects of democracy on the occasion of Day and Night of Democracy – hoch3 (7–9 November 2025), questioning the polarity in communication.

The seven themes of freedom, opinion, wealth, gender, community, borders and strangers will be installed as heaven-and-hell playing fields on the ground at seven locations in the urban space of Lauenburg during the month of November. Each playing field addresses socio-political issues that relate to both the respective theme and the local conditions. As in their previous projects, die brachiale position in public space is referenced. The project invites people to think about democracy while jumping.
