Workshop ‘Passing water’
by Isabell Ratzinger
In the artistic workshop ‘Passing water’, teams compete against each other in a creative competition and try to draw as much water as possible from the Elbe using improvisation and skill with the simplest of materials. Isabell Ratzinger has been a visual arts scholarship holder since May 2025.

Volunteering, membership or donation?
Are you interested in contemporary art? Then the Künstlerhaus Lauenburg is the right place for you.
We are looking for volunteers for the following tasks:
- Participation in the board
- Public relations work (contact with the media, writing short texts on the offers)
- Participation in the organisation of events, including catering
- Participation in the supervisory team during the opening hours of the Stadtgalerie (Thu-Sun 14-17.00)
- Conception and realisation of new projects: e.g. greening the terrace and subsequent maintenance
- Artistic programmes for children and childcare
- Assistance with building maintenance, minor repairs and caretaking activities
